  NEL provides reload core design considering the safety, economics, and plant/cycle-specific requirements from a comprehensive viewpoint.

  NEL has introduced and customized an online core monitoring system developed by Studsvik ScandPower. This system can help operators monitor the reactor status and fuel behavior easily with a graphical user interface.

NEL has developed a next-generation neutronics analysis code, AEGIS.
Various state-of-the-art models are implemented on AEGIS to predict the detailed behavior of neutrons inside the fuel assemblies.
AEGIS can also provide reliable prediction with high accuracy for unusual cycle operations such as super-long-term outages.
